See Disney Collector's Over-the-Top Christmas Decorations Featuring Over 70 Trees

Share

December is the month to “Deck the Halls,” but doesn’t it seem as if Christmas comes around sooner each year?

Retail stores such as Walmart and Target start putting up their Christmas displays even before the end of October these days.

But imagine having to put up more than one tree. Now add a few more. Sound like a project you might need to begin in July?

What if you had over 70 trees? I’d say that’s a task it might take all year to finish. In that case, I’d probably never take them down.

One family from Springfield, Missouri, likes to celebrate Christmas Disney-style. Donna and Paul Miller’s home is unlike anything you’ve ever seen.

Their 4 bedroom home houses close to 80 Christmas trees for the 2018 holiday season, Donna Miller shared with Springfield News-Leader.

Add to that more than a dozen yard inflatables, more ornaments than you can count, and Disney items everywhere, and I’d say you have a home Walt Disney himself would be proud of.

Donna has been a Disney collector as long as she can remember. She and Paul have collected different things over the years, but in the end Disney has remained a constant in their home.

Their son Scott is a Disney fan himself. He lives close to Walt Disney World and started working for The Disney Store many years back.

While Scott shares his mom’s adoration for all things Mickey Mouse, his dad seems to support the decor out of love for his wife.

Donna shared her husband’s Christmas gift to her is allowing her to decorate this way. Her obsession could get expensive, but the wife and mom likes to bargain shop just like anyone.

She frequents places like garage sales where she can find collector’s items on a budget. At this point, she’s lost track of just how many Disney things she has to her name.

“There’s no way of knowing,” she told News-Leader. “As long as there’s a Disney… I’ll never stop.” Her collection is as extensive as it is incredible.

Their home belongs in a Disney museum, or a Disney Park at least! I don’t doubt they have people who stop by their house and ask for a tour.

What do you think of this Disney holiday home? Are you a go-all-out decorator or a minimalist during the holiday season?
