You either love snakes or you hate them, as these slithery creatures have the power to send shivers right up your spine.
As much as we fear these reptiles, they need our help every once in a while.
Because they are curious creatures, they slide in and out of the most peculiar of spots like a Goodwill donation box or an empty pipe.
When a team of construction workers made their way to a job site, they were in for one slithering surprise.
A cobra snake had slid right in a hole in a pipe and was trapped halfway inside.
The snake, as hard as it tried, just couldn’t manage to free itself. That was when the construction workers stepped in to help.
Calling the snake helpline, a group of rescuers showed up to assist. Their mission was clear: they needed to free this snake no matter how scary it looked.
First, they needed to protect themselves from its lethal bite. They coaxed its head into a plastic tube. This allowed them to hold the snake without worrying about a sneak attack.
They then began to gently saw the pipe the snake was stuck in with a hacksaw, using water to keep it cool as they worked.
A crowd began to form, hanging on the edge of their seats waiting to see what would happen next.
Would this snake be saved or would it be forever trapped in the pipe?
Cut and after cut, it became clear that this snake would soon find its way to freedom.
The rescuers were finally able to bend the pipe and pull the cobra to safety.
They release it from their grip, and the snake wasn’t even upset about the stressful situation it was just stuck in.
It slithered here and there, just happy to finally be free from that tight little pipe.
The rescuers freed the snake into a nearby forest, allowing it to go on its way without any damage to its fragile body.
Luckily no one was injured in the rescue, and this content creature was safe to begin exploring again.
