Carson Wentz has had a phenomenal year as the quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles. After throwing for over 3,000 yards, he suffered a season ending injury in December, but that hasn’t stopped him from hunting. One hunting photo he posted, though, has thrown liberals into a fit.
On the first day of 2018, Wentz posted a photo on his Instagram account celebrating the fifth birthday of his hunting dog, Mama Henly.

Wentz writes in his post, “Happy 5th Birthday to Mama Henley! We’ve been through a lot in 5 years. Best dog and hunting buddy I could ask for!”
However, the picture drew immediate criticism, and even had some social justice warriors foaming at the mouth.
Carson, congratulations on the Birthday of Mama Henley. As a friend I wanted to quickly highlight that a man in your influential position might cause offence through the posting of your first picture. I support its sentiment however the context and content of the pic could offend

What are you going to do with all those dead geese? I hope eat them and put them to good use and not for sport. I love animals and appreciate you celebrating your dogs birthday, but agree some could find it offensive.

Wentz, though, replied with a heartfelt, but tough, stance on his hunting.
Appreciate that, but offensive and controversial? Two of the main things I tweet about are Jesus and hunting. That’s what I’m passionate about and that won’t ever change! When you love something, you talk about it! Stay convicted about it and don’t worry what others think! https://t.co/3XsxU0kybC

His response resounded with many of his followers. As of this writing, the tweet had been re-tweeted over 7,000 times and has been liked over 40,000 times.

I'm glad you finally answer some of these people who drag you for hunting. You make us proud.

Well done Carson. Faith in something and passion about something are what make life worth living, and you appear right on track. Blessings!

Wentz and his brother, Zach, are known for their frequent hunting trips, and have even created a YouTube channel where they post videos from their outdoor trips.
While liberals want to throw a fit, we applaud Wentz for taking a stand and not giving in to the liberal haters around him. So many athletes and Hollywood stars give in the moment liberals start to whine.

Not with this quarterback. Keep standing for Jesus and hunting, Carson. We’re right there with you.
