Prince Harry & Meghan Markle's $35,000 Wedding Gift From Hidden Valley is Ranch Lover's Dream

Share

Ah, ranch dressing. The unofficial-but-obvious national flavor of America.

In fact, ranch is so American that when looking for ranch-flavored snacks in other countries, you’re likely to encounter the flavor name “Cool American.”

The fact is, the rest of the world just doesn’t understand the American fascination and infatuation with all that is this beautifully versatile salad dressing.

It is so beloved that almost any meal feels incomplete without it. Whether you enjoy it on pizza, french fries, salad, or realistically, straight from the bottle, Americans may consistently find themselves asking the question, “Just what doesn’t ranch go on?”

And the answer is often difficult to find. You name it, ranch has either been put on it, infused into it or been completely re-imagined by it.

And ranch lovers are certainly a force to be reckoned with — so much so that the deliciously creamy-yet-tangy sauce has its very own holiday.

March 10 is National Ranch Day, and the very inventors of the dressing are notorious for going all out to celebrate their undying love for it.

Last year, Hidden Valley created an array of holiday ranch-themed gifts for any avid ranch lover. Among the items included the 5-liter “mini” metal keg filled with a “year’s” supply of ranch and a glorious ranch fondue-style fountain. Because according to the supplier, “It isn’t a party unless the Hidden Valley Ranch is flowin.”

But this year, the company has taken their love for ranch to the next level (because apparently it is possible).

As a nod to the British Royal family, a $35,000 ranch bottle has been designed to remind a certain American-born future royal of the “flavors of home.”

“Hidden Valley Ranch will commemorate this joyous occasion by creating a one-of-a-kind bottle to honor a fellow famous American, and remind her of the familiar flavors of her home country as she resides as royalty across the pond,” the announcement read, referencing none other than Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s upcoming wedding.

“Renowned in these United States as the flavor that goes well with anything, Hidden Valley Ranch is honoring the great pairing of a fellow famous American with British royalty, as well as those who royally love ranch.”

The 18K white gold and jewel-encrusted glass bottle is designed with 75 carats of diamonds and sapphires. With a crown on the cap to top it all off, it is truly a condiment fit for royalty.

The only thing not included in the $35K price tag? The ranch dressing.

Hidden Valley is holding a contest over Twitter until March 19, and the most royal of ranch lovers only need to retweet Hidden Valley’s post about the bottle to be entered to win.

And with the current track record of ranch fanatics everywhere, it’s no wonder the contest is going viral. Twitter is practically overrun with ranch-lovers vying for a chance to win the coveted bottle.

But no matter what, one thing is certain: Hidden Valley’s attempt to honor Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding is a wild success. The royal couple must be overjoyed to have the greatest dressing of the century supporting their upcoming union.

Will you enter to win this one-of-a-kind royal ranch bottle?
